Punched Out Cold Campaign

Punched Out Cold Campaign 2025

December is Punched Out Cold month.  Alcohol often plays a part in one punch assaults, and December, with the festive period, often sees more people out celebrating.

Whilst most of the time we may be able to laugh about what we did the night before whilst nursing nothing more than a hangover, what if one drunken action occurs which changes lives?  A single punch can cause serious injury, paralysis, a brain injury, or death.

The ripple effect of one action will be felt by the family and friends of the victim, and the offender.

Each December we ask police forces, pubs, clubs and restaurants to display our poster, highlighting how one punch can change lives.

If you’d like to get involved, please contact us info@onepunch.org.uk,  and help us make this Christmas a safe one for everybody.

Quote from our sponsor Switalskis Solicitors

“As brain injury and serious injury solicitors, we see first-hand the devastation a single moment of violence can cause. One punch can change everything, leaving victims with life-altering injuries, families facing unimaginable grief, and communities trying to make sense of an incident which should never have happened. At Switalskis, we support One Punch Campaign because the message matters. Every life is precious, and every person deserves to come home safe. If every one person stops, thinks and walks away, then a life may be saved, and a family spared the heartbreak we witness all too often. We stand with the families who are forced to pick up the pieces after a violent assault, and we urge everyone, no matter how young or old, to understand the catastrophic consequences that one split second decision can have. Together, through education, awareness and compassion, we can prevent serious injuries and needless tragedies”.
